Today, for the first time, students of the Faculty of Law had the opportunity to visit the premises of the Basic Prosecution in Prishtina, where we were welcomed by Z. Kujtim Munishi, Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution in Prishtina. During the meeting, we were introduced to the role and function of the prosecution, its divisions and responsibilities, while Z. Kujtim Munishi shared with us which criminal offenses are most prevalent and the areas they are focused on to ensure a safer society.
We also discussed at length the internships that should be offered to law students, and Z. Kujtim Munishi encouraged us to apply and become part of the prosecution. As a club, we continuously work toward our objectives to provide students with ongoing practical opportunities.
We thank Chief Prosecutor Z. Kujtim Munishi and the assistants for their hospitality and for such a fruitful discussion.
The project “Building a Perspective on the Constitutional Responsibilities of Institutions” is supported by the Office of the Presidency.
