Through a series of episodes, this project addressed topics that touch the very core of higher education: academic responsibility, integrity, transparency, and the impact of ethics on civic formation.
We began with the Rector of the University of Prishtina, continued with professors from various fields, brought forward the perspectives of organizations promoting transparency and meritocracy, moved through university governance at the level of the Governing Council, and concluded with the student — the source, purpose, and reason for every university. This journey from institution to individual, from leadership to responsibility, and from structure to values demonstrated that ethics is not a theoretical concept, but an essential practice and the foundation of a university with integrity.
Beyond public discussions, the project also delivered concrete results. The official website of the Ethics Club, www.klubietikes.com, was created and launched as a sustainable, long-term platform for promoting ethics, transparency, and academic cooperation. This step established a new foundation for communication, information-sharing, and the development of initiatives that promote a culture of ethics within the university.
The project confirmed that ethics is built through example, communication, and responsibility, and that change begins when there is space for honest dialogue and critical thinking.
This project is supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADC) through the HEI25 small grants scheme and is managed by the Organization for Improving Quality in Education (ORCA).
